When it comes to everyday dressing, I’ll be honest… I don’t put much effort in. Yes I work in the fashion industry and yes I’m a style blogger but if I’m going to spend 8 hours sitting at my desk, I’m going to make sure I’m sitting comfortably. If I have to dress up a casual outfit, I tend to add some height to my footwear or add a few more pieces of jewellery and that’s exactly what I did with this khaki combo.
On most days my casual outfits consists of trainers and a loose shirt about 3 sizes too big, but I’ll occasionally switch it up for something more fitted. This was one of those days. Khaki is a gorgeous colour and the silk finish on this t-shirt gives it something extra. I paired it with my go-to skinny jeans because what says casual better than black skinnies?
If heeled boots were comfortable enough to wear all day, they wouldn’t leave my feet. I got these cut out boots in the Zara sale almost a year ago for £9.99! If you didn’t know already, when Zara are on sale, their boots go down to pennies. It’s the first thing I search for when I visit their website.
Gold complements khaki beautifully so of course that was the go-to colour when choosing jewellery for this outfit. Midi rings and layered necklaces are my favourites right now and I’m trying to opt for pieces that have a meaning or relates to me. If you know or can guess what my necklace says, let me know in the comments!
I obviously can’t get enough of this gorgeous colour because I styled up a khaki suit earlier this year. Have a peek here!
