I attended London Collections: Men earlier this month as a journalist for Who’s Jack Magazine and it was amazing! It gave me a feel for freelance work and working to very tight deadlines and I really enjoyed it. Running late on the very first day of LCM, I power walked from Holborn station up to the Old Sorting Office to attend the Topman show and was stopped quite a few times to have my picture taken. Um woah. I’m never usually the one to get street style snapped. I think it’s because I dress for warmth and comfort before anything else so it was a pleasant surprise. I’ve cropped my bleurgh face out of most of the pictures because I was so ill during LCM. If anybody who attended suddenly got a cold, it was probably from me. My bad!
I have a thing for block coloured outfits right now and I try and keep it interesting by playing with different shades and textures, and accenting an outfit with accessories in a complimentary colour. Cue the camel and brown ensemble. I was really happy with the look plus I was warm and comfortable too. I think I’m really starting to find my own sense of style and that is very important!
